Welcome to My World of Mindful Movement and Fun



Hello! My name is Alicja and I am the founder and owner of Empowered Movement Space, Pilates and yoga teacher, nutritionist and healthy lifestyle enthusiast. I am originally from Poland, came to England 15 years ago and started my proper journey with Pilates and yoga 12 years ago. My blog is going to be mainly about exercising, using Reformer Pilates, Pilates and yoga method. You will be able to read about my healthy eating tips, which sometimes I find hard to follow because of my working hours haha... and tips on how to work around your busy schedule to fit movement and delicious, full of goodness food.

I absolutely fell in love with yoga then with Pilates and immediately I wanted to share it with everyone else. The benefits of regular participating in these classes were noticeable, my skin started to become toned and elastic again while I was getting back to pre baby shape, my overall wellbeing was better and most importantly I started to believe that I CAN.... instead of limitations I could see possibilities, exercise has changed my mindset completely. After being redundant from my job in 2014 there was only one thing I wanted to do, there was no Plan B.
